With Nebim V3 Mobile Store, We Manage Our In-Store Operations More Quickly and Efficiently
Supporting sports and athletes and managing all business processes with Nebim V3 ERP, OLGAR continues to develop new projects with Nebim. OLGAR ERP and Stock Control Specialist Alper Hacışahinoğlu shared his views on the Nebim V3 Mobile Store project.
Could you briefly introduce your company?
Olgar group of companies was established in 1989 and continues its activities with the principle of working based on sports. Thanks to the efforts of our company, which is not very common in Turkey, we continue to provide active support in advanced sports branches, tennis, ski snowboard, jogging events and support organizations. Olgarlar is basically a company that supports sports and athletes and provides the necessary outdoor or indoor materials.
Could you share your suggestions with us based on your experiences while taking the project into actual use?
Since it was a transition from scratch, there were some minor problems at first, as in every new beginning. These were resolved quite quickly by Nebim teams. We didn't actually experience any integration problems with this system at the beginning. We were already using a different program and we tried to run it in parallel during the transition phase. Problems in the project process We are currently proceeding entirely with the Nebim V3 Mobile Store application, thanks to the rapid solutions of Nebim teams.
Initially, we did not have a sales screen in the app. Afterwards, with the addition of the sales department, the front office and back office in the store became practical. Because there is a huge functional richness on the application. In other words, the friends in the store can do almost everything they use in their own safes with the Nebim V3 Mobile Store application on their handheld terminals. This provides speed and freedom of movement for our colleagues working both at the cash register and at the back office in our stores.
What are the most important benefits of the application?
I can say that one of the most important benefits is that we are completely free from accepting high volume products around the cash register in back office works. Because the freedom provided by the Nebim V3 Mobile Store application provides much more benefits. Our friends working in the store no longer need to accept products while there are guests in the store. In the warehouse area, a friend of ours can read the products with the Nebim V3 Mobile Store application and continue his transactions by seeing the missing and differences as he does on his normal computer.
Apart from this, as it is known, the counting process is very important for us on the stock control side. It can actually analyze the missing and surplus in the store products. With the Nebim V3 Mobile Store application, we can carry out our store counting transactions in a practical way. If it was in the old system, when it would be considered a coat, there was a tiring process of bringing all the coats to the cash register, counting them on a brand-based basis, and then putting them back in place. No need to deal with them anymore. Our friend in the store goes to the location he wants in the store, counts the products he wants, and can check the difference report accordingly. This, as I said, enables us to perform counting processes more practical and faster, which is a huge plus for the inventory control of the store.
On the sales side, it is a very useful application for cash sales and order entries. Especially when the cashier is busy, we are able to complete the cash shopping for a product they like in the aisle without making our guests wait at the cash register. These features provide the benefit of being able to move faster in store sales transactions.
