Mert Optik, which has been in the optics industry since 1983, serving its customers with 28 stores across Turkey and incorporating world brands with a rich product range, explained the transition process and goals to Nebim. He also talked about the solutions Nebim offers specifically for the optics industry, the results they have achieved with these solutions, and their contribution to their growth and development.

Could you introduce the history of Mert Optik?

We have been in this industry since 1983. We serve our customers with a total of 28 stores in Eskişehir. We bring world brands with high-quality and high-tech products to our customers with a rich product range. Instead of the idea of ​​"Whatever we bring, let's sell", we acted with the idea "Let's bring the good, let's sell the good". Our biggest feature is that we follow the latest technological innovations in the sector and do not hesitate to invest in this field. Being a dealer of the world's most important brands requires us to be even more careful in our work. That's why we use computerized machines with zero error in glass assembly.

When did your cooperation process with Nebim begin? What were the goals you set when starting to implement Nebim solutions?

While following the technology so closely, we showed the same care in our own company. We needed a practical system in our company where we could control our headquarters and stores in all areas. We chose Nebim because of its experience in the sector and we have completed the 15th year of our cooperation. When we started to implement Nebim, our biggest goal was to create an infrastructure that would increase our efficiency, improve our control mechanism and take us one step further. Thanks to Nebim's parametric and ever-evolving structure, we achieved this goal in a short time.

With Nebim Winner, we can track our glasses orders instantly and list them in any detail we want. With order and stock management, we can control and analyze our headquarters and stores by making limitations such as best selling or non-selling, and in this sense, we can follow up a healthier stock. With Nebim solutions, we can easily use special glasses labels on barcodes, so we can perform our counts noticeably faster than before. With the stock price monitoring solution via hand terminals, we can instantly see the information about that product on the same screen at the time of sale. Thanks to Winner, we can receive the reports we provide for SSK in a very short time, thanks to the system created specifically for our industry.

We can define the amount that the Social Security Institution (SGK) and private insurance companies cover for eyeglasses and frames as corporate contribution, and we can quickly prepare the invoices to be issued to SGK and private health institutions within the framework of the realized sales. With Nebim's solutions specific to the optics industry, we can keep every detail about our customers; such as doctor information, glass information, frame information. We can follow their orders with the cards we print specially for them, and we can see the warranty expiry times of the glasses.

What do you think is the most effective application of Nebim? Can you tell us about your future plans with Nebim?

We can easily and quickly follow details such as the performance of the personnel, which type of glasses are sold the most, and store turnover. With the application, we can get reports on a day-to-month basis, and make healthy analyzes. Nebim is a company that constantly develops itself. In this sense, we aim for unlimited customer satisfaction by making use of other solutions offered by Nebim in a short time.
